Ryanair passengers could be charged to use onboard toilets in the future, according to airline bosses.
The shock announcement comes as the budget airline hiked checked-in luggage charges from £15 to £20 each way from today. The charges will apply to all flights in July and August, coinciding with the peak summer holiday season.
Passengers who forget to check in online in advance will be forced to pay an extra £40 per 15kg bag or £15 per 20kg bag at the airport.
Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary said he is also considering plans to charge passengers who use in-flight toilets and introducing standing seats on his aircraft.
